River Wye, Derbyshire

There are two rivers named Wye in Britain. The other River Wye is much more well known. It flows 210 kms and for much of the way runs close to the border between England and Wales. It reaches the sea at the Severn Estuary. The Wye in Derbyshire is little more than 1/10th the length of its bigger namesake at a mere 24 kms. It reaches the sea via the River Trent and the Humber Estuary on the East Coast. Both rivers flow through beautiful unspoilt countryside, as seen here in the Peak District.
